Wunmi, Mohbad’s wife, has spoken out about the paternity of her son
Omawunmi, the widowed wife of late Nigerian artist Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad, has broken her silence, pledging to defend her reputation after a series of claims levied against her.
It should be noted that Omawunmi was implicated in the contentious circumstances that led to the singer’s death, with talks concerning the paternity of their kid being questioned by followers of the departed Afrobeat star.
Joseph Aloba, the late singer’s father, who sought a DNA test for Liam, believes a paternity test is a “non-negotiable” to confirm his grandson’s (Liam’s) genuine bloodline.
Wunmi told Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo that she has opted to keep silent until the coroner’s inquest on November 7th, and that all she wants is justice for her husband, which she feels the Nigerian government is working on.
She also stated that she will explain her side of the story in a public interview and that she will undergo a DNA test to clear up any doubts regarding her son’s paternity.
Omowunmi’s message to Iyabo Ojo reads, “I have decided not to speak on anything until November 7 which is the coroner inquest because I do not want any side distraction. All I want is Justice for my husband which I believe the Nigeria government is working on. After everything, I’ll either grant an interview or tell my own story before the whole world, and also, DNA is definitely a must!!!”.
