Who makes the top 4 in the EPL as it is still widely opened?

Arsenal are trying really hard to make European football after completely not making it for some few years now, however there’s a chance that the fourth spot is the one we can end up in, something that would be a huge success for Arsenal and Arteta.

Currently, Arsenal is in sixth position on the table with three match outstanding over Manchester United and West Ham that are occupying fourth and fifth respectfully, Arsenal are sitting just three points above local rival Tottenham who lost two games in the past week and they are as well having three match outstanding.

If Arsenal win the next game against Brentford, they will slide into fourth place and  will only lie two points behind European Champions Chelsea currently sitting third on the table, whom Arsenal still need to play for a second time.

I know that they have a much better-quality squad with a lot of depth, however losing Chilwell and James has left them in poor form, drawing three and losing one in their last five.

Chelsea’s goals have come from their defense this season despite the big money signings like Lukaku and Werner that are both struggling to find the back of the net as their confidence hits rock bottom.

Especially with the fact that they are still competing in the FA Cup, EFL Cup, Champions League and Premier League, they will have a travelled and tired legs.

Arsenal must remain injury free for the rest of the season and need players like Martinelli, Saka and ESR to keep up their fine form and continue scoring goals from midfield.

Think about Arsenal’s rivals for the top four spot, Spurs are not doing well enough at the moment because they lost their last two games, West Ham lack star quality and Man United can’t score more than a goal a game under their new coach Rangnick.

It seems that Wolves may be Arsenal’s closest rival for the fourth spot because they are defensively assured and well organized, but the good thing is Arsenal just beat them 1-0 away from home with ten men!

There is 16 more games to go this season, all will still inevitably drop points against sides until the season ends, however Arsenal will play less games against the top six than most and a lot of our remaining games are also at home, which they have managed to keep a strong record this season.

Carragher picked Arsenal as his favorite for the top four while Souness believes that they simply lack the goals in the squad.

The Premier League is always unpredictable, games in hand does not mean wins in the most competitive league in the world. Every team will be the favorite until they drop points.
