It certainly didn’t look good when Broja went down, and you do suspect that, if he is out for more than a few weeks, it could force the Blues into the transfer market to strengthen their options up top.
As some fans have mentioned, the spectre of recruiting Cristiano Ronaldo will be raised once again, while other targets (including Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix and Napoli’s Victor Osimhen) could also be considered.
With no real indication as to how serious Broja’s injury is, though, it is not worth speculating about potential transfers at the moment.
