Mohbad’s relatives appeared at a coroner’s court in Lagos on Wednesday for an inquiry into the death of the musician, whose true name is Oladimeji Aloba.
On Friday, October 13, 2023, the coroner’s inquest investigating the singer’s death began at the Magistrate Court in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The singer’s family, including his wife, mother, and father, were seen heading inside the court grounds on Wednesday afternoon in a video that went viral on social media.
In an ongoing inquiry to investigate the cause of Mohbad’s death, Coroner Magistrate Adedayo Shotobi called artists Naira Marley, Primeboy, and Sam Larry to appear before the court on October 25.
The coroner directed Panti’s State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department to ensure the trio’s appearance at the next adjourned date of October 25.
The court, however, did not invite the nurse, who the police deemed to be one of the main suspects in the case.
Mohbad died on September 12th, at the age of 27, in disputed circumstances.
