It appears that Gvardiol is a major target for the Red Devils. Sky Sport Deutschland reporter Florian Plettenberg confirmed their interest in the Croatian last week but it looks like they have now stepped up their attempts to sign the 20-year-old.
Aouna is known more for accuracy when it comes to transfers in France, rather than Germany, so we shall have to wait and see whether other sources do confirm this story. However, it if turns out to be a true, it would be a pretty surprising development.
Reports have suggested that United would not be spending big in January and it was also thought that signing a forward was the club’s main priority. Perhaps an exception has been made for Gvardiol.
