Atletico Madrid could demand as much as €140m (£121m) for Joao Felix from clubs looking to sign the Portuguese international, according to reports in the Spanish media.
Arsenal are believed to have enquired about the forward’s availability, following the news that Gabriel Jesus has had knee surgery, but Gunners fans on Twitter don’t think the club should be splashing the cash on Felix as a possible replacement:

As one supporter mentioned, for that price, you would expect that Felix would be sold to either Chelsea or Manchester United; both of whom have also been linked with the player.
Considering Jesus will return in two to three months’ time, it would be a surprise if the club sanctioned a club record offer for a player when all they really need is a short-term fix.
As we mentioned in a post earlier this week, there are some good players on the market who could do a job without costing an excessive amount.
