The Price That Chelsea Will Have To Pay If They Want To Keep Joao Felix At The Club

Atletico Madrid will demand around €80m (£71m) if Chelsea want to keep Joao Felix on a permanent basis, according to Cadena SER.

The Spanish radio station claims that the Blues have not completely ruled out keeping the Portuguese international, despite not including a purchase clause in their loan agreement for the player.

It is believed that Felix would not be against staying at Stamford Bridge either, with the forward having no future at Atletico as long as Diego Simeone is still the manager.

The 23-year-old has started his spell with Chelsea pretty impressively, despite being sent off on his debut against Fulham last month.

Felix got his first goal in the 1-1 draw against West Ham last weekend and he thrived playing in the no.10 role at the London Stadium. Of course, any decision over whether to sign the player on a permanent basis will be based on how he performs across his entire spell with the Blues.
