Chelsea will not pursue a move for Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo, according to multiple reports.
The fallout following the Portuguese international’s interview with Piers Morgan had prompted further speculation that Blues owner Todd Boehly could look to bring the player to Stamford Bridge.
However, it appears that the club have now ruled out any approach for Ronaldo and most supporters on Twitter are behind the decision:

Ronaldo’s interview has probably done him more harm than good in trying to force a transfer away from United. He appears to be a difficult player to manage and, combined with the fact that he is not performing to the standards he was once capable of, he isn’t an attractive signing.
Chelsea are still expected to be in the market for a forward, Napoli’s Victor Osimhen and Brentford’s Ivan Toney are both believed to have been scouted by the Blues in recent months.
