Talented singer, Khaid: “I once begged Rema to show my music to Don Jazzy for N1M”
Khaid, a talented vocalist, recalls his experience as an aspiring musician, recounting how he begged his colleague, Rema, to assist him by exposing his freestyle video to music boss, Don Jazzy.
Khaid, who is now signed to comedian Sydney Talker’s company, Neville Records, announced this on a recent edition of the Zero Conditions podcast.

According to the artist, he worked hard during his difficult days in the music industry in the hopes of landing a deal with Mavin Records.
Khaid claimed that he was so desperate to succeed that he was prepared to give Rema his first million Naira if he could help him land a record deal with Mavin Records. He complained, though, that his communications to Rema went unanswered.

“Rema if you are seeing this, please take heart. I actually went to Rema’s [Instagram] DM one day with my old account and sent my freestyle video to him. I said, ‘Bro, I know that you trap like me. Please, help me show this video to Don Jazzy. Let him sign me so that we will be in the same record label.’
“He didn’t see the message. At that time, I was texting him with all emotions in me, bro. I was texting him with prayers. I was willing to give him my first 1 million,” he stated.
