The American international has struggled to hold down a first-team place at Stamford Bridge and there is a feeling that he will be allowed to leave the Blues in the New Year.
Manager Erik ten Hag is keen to strengthen his forward options but, with limited funds, signing a player on loan is the likeliest scenario, with Pulisic being seen as one of the best available. Supporters on Twitter are split on whether the 23-year-old would be a good addition to the squad:
So Sancho is gone…

I’d take him at United. There’s a player in there somewhere, just needs unlocking.

To be fair he’s a good option coming of the bench.

It’s fair to say that the American hasn’t pulled up any trees at Chelsea, whilst he also has a questionable fitness record. Combined with the fact that he wouldn’t be a direct replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo either, there certainly are a fair few downsides to signing him.
Arsenal and Newcastle have also been informed about Pulisic’s situation so there will be competition for the forward. We shall see how this transfer story develops.
