The 29-year-old has been included in Walid Regragui’s squad for the World Cup after being frozen out under the previous manager.
Supporters on Twitter have been praising Ziyech for his outstanding goal but many have been asking why he can’t produce similar performances for the Blues:

There is certainly a debate to be had about whether Ziyech has been afforded enough opportunities during his time at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel rarely started the Moroccan, while manager Graham Potter has continued to use him sparingly.
However, it must be said that the winger has flattered to deceive on most occasions when he has been given starts. It could be argued that the team needs to be built around him so he can be the club’s main playmaker but his performances for Chelsea make it hard to justify him being handed such a prominent role.
