Paris Saint-Germain are lining up a bid for Arsenal defender Gabriel, according to Goal Brasil.
The Ligue One side’s Football Advisor Luis Campos is a big fan of the Brazilian, having signed him when he was at Lille.
It is believed that PSG are “willing to make” a formal offer for Gabriel, although they will first contact the player’s representatives to gauge whether a deal is possible.
Goal report that the French club may find it difficult to persuade the 25-year-old, with the center-back “not even thinking” about a transfer. He is said to be “excited” about playing in the Champions League for the Gunners next season.
Gabriel is not the only Arsenal player that PSG have been linked with recently
Gunners captain Martin Odegaard has also been mentioned as a potential target for the Ligue One champions but, again, it appears the Norwegian international is keen to remain at the Emirates.
The London club are reportedly locked in talks to extend the attacking midfielder’s contract. His current deal expires in 2025.
