The 16-year-old has faced senior opposition in the EFL Trophy, having come on as a substitute in the group game against Northampton and the second round tie versus Stevenage.
There is a still a way to go before Lewis-Skelly is considered for his first-team debut but he has committed his long-term future to the Gunners. As Ornstein mentions, he will become eligible for a professional deal when he turns 17 later this year so we shall see how he progresses at Hale End.
