Official: Arsenal Bernd Leno has joined Fulham in a permanent transfer.

Bernd has made 125 appearances for us in all competitions since joining us from Bayer Leverkusen in June 2018.

The 30-year-old goalkeeper made 49 appearances for Arsenal during the 2020/21 season, more than any other Arsenal player.

Bernd preserved 16 clean sheets in all competitions this season and made his 100th Arsenal appearance in our 3-2 UEFA Europa League win over Benfica in February 2021.
Bernd became a fixture in the German national team setup during his time with us and was nominated to his country’s Euro 2020 roster.

Bernd quickly endeared himself to our supporters in his first season at Emirates Stadium, particularly with a string of world-class saves against Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Leicester City.

Bernd’s form carried over into his subsequent seasons with us, when he displayed his exceptional responses and ability to create the best on the largest platform. Bernd, we appreciate your contributions to the club throughout your four years with us.

Everyone at Arsenal wishes Bernd and his family the best of luck on their new adventure. The Arsenal Football Club plc owns the copyright. Permission is authorized to use extracts from this article as long as proper reference is given to www.arsenal.com as the source.
