Naira Marley announces his return to Nigeria: “I’ve just arrived”
Naira Marley, CEO of Marlian Music, has issued a statement announcing his return to Lagos, Nigeria, only weeks after the death of Mohbad, a former Nigerian musician signed to the same company.
Mohbad has previously stated in various videos that members of Marlian Music and some of the label’s affiliates mistreated and abused him.

There was also an earlier footage in which Mohbad appeared to back away from Nigerian figure Sam Larry.
Following Mohbad’s death, there were rumours tying Marlian Music to the tragedy, albeit there is no tangible proof to back such accusations as of the time of this article.
Naira Marley, the CEO of Marlian Music, has announced his return to Nigeria in the middle of continuing inquiries into the reason of Mohbad’s death.
In his statement, he said, “I’d like to share that I’ve just arrived back in Lagos, Nigeria to assist the authorities with the ongoing investigation. It’s important I do my part for Imole. I’ll be meeting with the police with hopes for the truth to be uncovered and for justice to prevail.”
