Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley, and event promoter Sam Larry have made their first public appearance after being released from police custody.

According to reports, the duo was freed by the Lagos Police Command two weeks ago after satisfying their bail terms in the investigation into the death of a prominent musician, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Naira Marley and Sam Larry were seen strolling and reconciling with Marley’s signee, Zinoleesky, after their release from police prison in a viral video viewed on Wednesday.

Naira Marley, Sam Larry, and two others were arraigned and detained on October 6 for their suspected participation in the death of former Marlian Music signee Mohbad.

However, on Monday, November 6, a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos State, granted the Marlian Music chairman and Sam Larry bail in the amount of N20 million.

Adeola Olatunbosun, the Magistrate, ordered the couple to give their foreign passports as part of their bail terms and instructed them to appear weekly at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Panti.

MohBad died in Lagos on September 12, 2023, at the age of 27. The nurse who gave him the Tetanus vaccine was arrested and proven to be an unlicensed nurse by the Lagos Police Command on September 19, 2023.
