“Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated three times,” says Iyabo Ojo, providing an update on the singer’s situation and sharing good news
Iyabo Ojo, a popular Nollywood actress, has provided an update on the high-profile case of late Afrobeats artist, Mohbad, as she cheers hearts with some positive news.
The actor, who has been in the forefront of the fight for justice for the 26-year-old musician, said that his case has been sent to the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
Second, she stated that the police have yet to obtain the singer’s toxicology reports, while the singer’s remains are still being kept by the coroners.
She also claimed that the police had previously examined, cross-examined, and re-examined Mohbad’s wife for the third time.
She also said that DJ Splash, who was rumoured to be signed to Naira Marley’s record company, had been freed from the hospital.
DJ Splash was hospitalised for mental health difficulties, as previously reported.

“Update on Monbad s Case:
The case has been transferred to the DPP……. Directorate of Public Prosecution, Ministry of Justice, while the police say they are still waiting on the toxicology results ….
The remains of Mohbad have yet to be released.
Also, to the best of my knowledge, Mohbad’s wife has been interrogated three times. Two of the three times were the day you all saw Mohbad’s father televised by the police in which they addressed the public on Mohbad’s case, later that same day Mohbad’s father, mother, and wife were sent to Panti for interrogation and to write their statement, another day Mohbad’s wife was interrogated was the 21st of September 2023…..
Please keep in mind that the CCTV camera at Mohbad’s home was never installed or linked, and thus lacks both a BVR and a hard disc.
