Mohbad is a traitor, and Naira Marley’s adversaries murdered him — Portable
Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, has accused the late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, aka Mohbad, of being a traitor.
Tribune Online reports that Mohbad passed away on the 12th of September 2023 at the age of 27.
Following his death, some netizens have accused his former label boss, Naira Marley, of threats to life, cyber stalking and other sundry crimes committed against Mohbad, all of which have since been confirmed by the police through investigation.
However, in a popular social media video, Portable claimed that Naira Marley is not responsible for Mohbad’s death and that the artist died as a result of betraying Naira Marley.
He stated that Naira Marley’s opponents, with whom Mohbad was hanging out after quitting Naira Marley’s Marlians music company, were responsible for his death.
According to him, there was no way Naira Marley could have killed Mohbad after assisting in bringing him to prominence and advancing his career.
He, on the other hand, pleaded to God to vindicate Naira Marley, noting that he is a helper.
“It was Naira Marley’s opponents who killed Mohbad because he was a traitor,” he explained. He was relaxing with Naira Marley’s opponents, which is why he was assassinated.
“Don’t be so bad in case you want to see tomorrow. Naira Marley is innocent; he was implicated. But God will save him because he is a helper.
“The death that killed Mohbad is the death of a traitor. The music industry is casted. What I don’t want to say, I will say it now. They roped Naira Marley and Marlian music.
“When Mohbad had a problem with Marlians, he said they did not like him. Who doesn’t like him? Who doesn’t love you? Someone that built you later doesn’t love you? He left and ran to Marlians haters and enemies and started rolling with them. You should know the people I’m talking about.”
