Manchester United has officially removed Antony from the squad just like what Brazil national team did

Manchester United announce Antony will not return to the squad ‘until further notice’ while allegations of the player’s violence against women are investigated.

This is coming following the charges against Greenwood that was eventually dropped but Manchester United could not bring Greenwood back into their squad despite his talent.

Antony completely denied the accusation against him and he seems sincere and not happy about the whole thing at the moment.

Antony: “I have never attacked and I never will attack. I’m sure I never committed physical violence. Verbal violence … I offended her [Cavallin] and she offended me too. It was on both sides. Physical violence, never.”

The Brazil national team dropped him from their squad during the international break and now Manchester United has followed the same step by announcing that Antony will no longer be in the squad for now.

Antony statement.

“I have agreed with United to take a period of absence while I address the allegations made against me”.

“This was mutual decision”.

“I want to reiterate my innocence of the things I have been accused of, I will fully cooperate with the police”.
