Manchester City was able to stay up the Premier League table retaining their six-point lead at the top with a convincing 4-1 victory over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium .

They needed the win at all cost because their closest rival, Liverpool are also taking all their chances by claiming very possible point to grab. So Man City can not just afford to drop any point now if they really want to claim the EPL title this season.

It was thought that the match would be a difficult derby for the two Manchester teams, 5th min: Man City took the lead after just five minutes as Bernardo Silva gave a low pass back into the box which Kevin De Bruyne played with a perfect finish, taking advantage of some sleepy Man United defending.
