“Lord, we are grateful” – Mercy Chinwo and her husband greet their first child
Mercy Chinwo, a Nigerian gospel singer, is happy after welcoming her first child with her husband, Pastor Blessed.
One year after their wedding, the award-winning singer and her husband revealed in April that they were expecting their first child.
The gospel singer revealed the news by sharing a music video of herself flaunting her baby tummy and praising God for the new addition, stating that He has filled their hearts with pleasure and their mouths with testimony.
Although the singer did not reveal the gender of the child, reports circulating online claim that the pair had a boy.
She wrote:
“Lord, we are grateful; we approach Your throne with heartfelt songs of praise and thanksgiving.
“You’ve filled our hearts with joy, our lips with testimonies, and our home with celebration. Indeed “YOU DO THIS ONE.”
