Liverpool’s interest in signing Chelsea midfielder confirmed
Liverpool are interested in signing one of Chelsea’s key players, as originally revealed on Si & Dan Talk Chelsea earlier this week, with a possible issue brewing.
Chelsea, as we’ve heard recently, has a variety of contractual issues that they’re trying to resolve right now.
One of them is England international Mason Mount, who has been in talks with the club about a contract extension since the summer but has failed to strike an agreement. His current contract expires in 2024, and he has sparked interest from other clubs who are keeping a close eye on the situation.
As you’ll see below, we had the news first this week, and today it has also been confirmed in a report from The Guardian, as also seen below.
Liverpool interest in Mason Mount confirmed, as I first reported on my site earlier this week.
Yesterday’s’ breakthrough’ a little premature. Still expect him to extend with us though. pic.twitter.com/AeXGVwNftr

As we say in our report, we still expect Mount to sign with Chelsea, and any move to Liverpool at the moment seems unlikely.
