The Spaniard missed the last month of the campaign with a hip problem and it appears that he is not back to full fitness quite yet.
Season hasn’t started yet.

Same old story
I think it’s time we pulled the plug and let him go instead of loosing him for free— LFC Br (@Citi3en1) July 10, 2023
Need to sell him. We need to be ruthless. Great player but Hardly ever available for a whole season. On big wages too. Rather sign a young player.

A move to the Middle East?
There have been some suggestions that Thiago could make the switch to Saudi Arabia this summer. However, at this stage, no formal approach has been made for the player.
In terms of Liverpool’s stance, it is believed they wouldn’t stand in the 32-year-old’s way if an offer came in for him. That is likely because he has just a year left on his contract.
Things haven’t gone to plan for Thiago at Liverpool
While the midfielder did play a key role in the Reds almost sealing a quadruple last year, that excellent season was sandwiched between two campaigns where he struggled to stay fit.
Thiago made only 20 league starts during 2020/21, and that went down to only 14 in 2022/23. Considering he is earning £200,000 a week as well, it is hard to justify keeping him around if he rarely makes it out onto the pitch.
