Kieran Tierney’s Constant Injury May Lead Arsenal Looking For His Replacement.

The Scottish international has been injured on few times in the past before joining Arsenal from Celtic on the last day of the transfer market, August 2019.

He is a very talented player but he has not been doing well as expected because of the series of injuries he has gotten in recently.

The right full-back is an important player to Arteta and Arsenal football club, but a player like that can’t be relied on for too long. He is surely fragile and he might not be able to survive playing in England and Arsenal for a long time.

Kieran Tierney is currently injured at the moment, the injury was well noticed during the international break, he played with discomfort against Poland in a friendly in which he played every minute of the match and returned to Arsenal.

Though the report says he has been playing with discomfort before joining his national team during the international break, it shows Arsenal has played him with injury for some time.

He could not Play Gunner’s match against Crystal Palace where they lost the game three Zero (0-3) and the one against Brighton where they lost 1-2 at home in front of their fans.

Kieran will require surgery to repair a knee injury that kept him out of Arsenal’s defeat at Crystal Palace. The left-back is now a question for Scotland’s World Cup play-off against Ukraine in June. Arsenal has Nuno Tavares on standby, but the 24-year-old Portuguese is currently matched rusty.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta said on Monday that Tierney’s health news was “not positive,” and the club has now confirmed Tierney will have surgery.

Arsenal issued the following statement: “On Tuesday, a specialist consultation was held, and as a result of additional conversations with Kieran and our medical staff, it was determined that Kieran needed knee surgery. This surgery will take place in the coming days in London.

“Kieran’s rehabilitation program will begin immediately following his operation, at which point a more precise timeline for his recovery will be established. Kieran, on the other hand, will almost certainly miss the rest of the season.

This is a big problem for Arsenal at this point that they are seriously chasing a Champions League spot for next season, it is becoming more difficult for them to achieve their goal now that they are losing key players to injuries and Arsenal is currently sitting behind their local rival, Tottenham Hot Spur on the EPL table.

Arsenal cannot keep losing players to injuries like that when they are most needed and that might make move for someone with very good experience that can compete with Tierney just like Cedric is doing in the absence of Tomiyasu who is also injured.
