Joe Cole Names The Two “Dream Signings” That Could Transform Chelsea Overnight

Ex-Chelsea player Joe Cole has urged his former club to sign Tottenham striker Harry Kane and West Ham captain Declan Rice.

The Blues have struggled to score goals this season and they have also been unable to get the best out of Enzo Fernandez so far, and Cole believes the addition of the two England internationals would solve a lot of problems:

“Harry Kane and Declan Rice are my dream signings for Chelsea. Kane gets you goals and brings leadership. Rice gives us solidity in midfield and I think Enzo and Declan would benefit from each other.”

A move for Kane is thought to be unlikely. While the presence of Mauricio Pochettino could tempt the player, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is not willing to do business with the club. Reports suggest that the England captain is likelier to join Manchester United than any other Premier League team.

In terms of Rice, Chelsea do have a longstanding interest in the 24-year-old but the player has his heart set on playing in the Champions League. With that being the case, it has been claimed that Arsenal are the favourites for his signature.
