Is Arsenal top four chase at risk by losing Aubameyang and not replacing him?

Arsenal lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the January winter transfer window to the Laliga giant Barcelona, making them short in the attack and lacking firepower as they only recorded only one goal in January.

Aubameyang lost his relationship with manager  Arteta and eventually did not stay at the club. So bad, Arsenal did not replace him.

Arsenal legend Martin Keown said more to losing a top quality striker, the Gunners’ chances of making  top four is at risk.

“It does worry me that with Aubameyang, when he lost the captaincy I was fearful that we would lose the player as well,” Keown said on the Seaman Says Podcast.

“If you look at the last few games, we didn’t score against Burnley, we didn’t score against Forest, the two games in the League Cup against Liverpool, we didn’t score in those either.

“There’s an issue right now in trying to score goals. I assume that he’s spending the time on the training ground trying to solve that.”

But it has been reported that the Gunners will go all out to sign players in the coming summer transfer window and a striker is top on their list.

Dusan Vlahovic was the target for the North London outfit in the January transfer window but he snubbed interest from Arsenal and joined Italian Serie A outfit Juventus.
