On Monday, Arsenal received a huge boost when midfielder Thomas Partey returned to full first-team training at London Colney.
The Ghanaian has been out for a few weeks owing to a groin injury sustained in Arsenal’s 2-2 draw with Fulham in August.
It’s uncertain if Partey, a key member of Arsenal’s midfield, will play against Lens in the Champions League on Tuesday, since his comeback may be premature.

His return to training, however, is a positive indication for the next weekend, as the 30-year-old might be required for the Manchester City encounter at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

Additionally, Gabriell Martinelli and Jurrien Timber were the only players absent from the Gunners training session on Monday.
The Gunners take on Lens in the UCL on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. (UK Time).
