In This Crazy Business, Don’t Compare Me With Portable

Nigerian singer, Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has warned Nigerians comparing him to his controversial colleague, Portable to desist from such action

We report that Portable began to trend after his recent altercation with the Nigerian Police when he rejected an attempt to arrest him.

In a live video shared on Instagram, the singer alleged that some internet fraudsters had come with the police to apprehend him. He claimed that he was being apprehended for no reason and subsequently refused to cooperate with the police, boasting that he is a superstar and works for the All Progressives Congress (APC).

His action elicited mixed reactions on social media, and some fans compared his crazy attitude to that of ‘Free Madness’ crooner, Terry G.

However, the comparison did not sit well with the ‘Akpako Master’ who warned fans not to compare “original” with “photocopy”.

A Twitter user had asked those who had compared Portable’s behaviour to that of Terry G to apologize to the singer.

“Those of you that compared Terry G’s madness to Portable should apologize right now!!!,” the user tweeted.

Reacting, Terry G wrote, “In this craze business please never you compare original to photocopy because una mind go dey soon G.”
