Richarlison scored twice as Brazil easily defeated Ghana 3-0 in a friendly at Le Havre, France on Friday.
Brazil’s first-half performance offered fans plenty of cause to be enthused about a youthful squad heading into the World Cup, when they will attempt to set a new record by winning a record-extending sixth World Cup.
They dominated Ghana from the outset, thanks to an intense pressing style led by offensive players Vinicius Jr., Raphinha, Richarlison, and Neymar, who had two assists.

Richarlison put the game out of reach 19 minutes later with a pinpoint first-time shot from the outside of the box into the lower left corner.

“I hope that Brazilian fans trust in me more since I score a lot for the national team,” Richarlison remarked. “I’m wearing jersey number nine, and I’m scoring goals every time I put it on. I arrive here and work peacefully.”
With victory secured and heavy rain pouring in Normandy, the five-time world champions took it easy in the second half, with manager Tite bringing on numerous substitutions.
