‘For £15m, This Seems A Steal’ ‘If Arteta Wants Him, I Want Him’ Fans React As Arsenal Target The “Next Luka Modric” As Xhaka’s Successor

Arsenal are keeping tabs on Dinamo Zagreb midfielder Martin Baturina, according to report.

The Croatian Under 21 international has been described as the “next Luka Modric”, and he may only cost around £15m.

Baturina is a highly rated young player and fans on Twitter would be delighted if he ends up moving to the Emirates at the end of the season:

It is believed that manager Mikel Arteta is a big admirer of the 20-year-old, and he is being eyed as a potential successor for Granit Xhaka.

The Swiss international is 30 years of age so finding a long-term replacement is something that has to be considered and Baturina’s performances for Dinamo this season suggest that he does have the potential to fill the Arsenal star’s shoes.

In 25 league appearances, the midfielder has scored five times and provided seven assists. Whether he can translate that sort of form to the Premier League, though, we shall have to wait and see.
