Fans, Celebrities Condole With Davido, Chioma Over Loss Of Son
The murder of Ifeanyi Adeleke, son of popular, award-winning, and worldwide music sensation Davido, and his fiancée, Chioma Rowland, has shocked the entertainment industry and Nigerians in general.
According to reports, the artiste’s first son died on Monday at his father’s home in Lagos State’s Banana Island neighbourhood.
According to the state’s police public relations officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, Ifeanyi drowned on Monday.
When asked if Ifeanyi was still alive, a police spokeswoman answered, “Yes, he is; he drowned.”
“No arrests have been made yet, but domestic employees have been questioned,” Hundeyin continued.
On Tuesday, a close colleague of the singer revealed Ifeanyi’s untimely demise to Channels Television.
Meanwhile, celebrities both from home and abroad have gone to social media to express their condolences to Davido and Chioma following Ifeanyi’s death.
Stephanie Allen, a British rapper and singer better known by her stage name Stefflon Don, took to Twitter to pray for the singer. “Prayers for Davido and Chioma,” she tweeted.

Daniel Oyebanjo, aka D’banj, a Nigerian music singer, lost his son, Daniel Jr., in a same terrible incident in 2018.
Daniel Jr. is said to have perished in a swimming pool at the singer’s Lagos house while he was abroad for a musical award in Los Angeles, California.
