‘Exciting News!’ ‘Sigh! What a Relievement’ Fans React As A United Star Is Pictured Returning To Training Following An Injury Scare
Manchester United midfielder Casemiro has returned to training ahead of the club’s match against Sheffield United this weekend.
The Brazilian is presently on international duty, although he was forced to leave last week’s 1-1 draw with Venezuela due to an ankle injury. He appears to be in contention to play for his country against Uruguay later tonight, prior to his return to club action.
Fans on X are relieved that Casemiro is fit, however others are praying he doesn’t play tonight so he can rest up for United’s trip to Bramall Lane:

United’s injury difficulties have been partially alleviated.
The fact that Casemiro is likely to be in contention for Saturday will come as a tremendous relief for manager Erik ten Hag, who already has 8 other players on the treatment table.
However, in addition to the Brazilian’s availability, it is believed that Raphael Varane (knock) and Sergio Reguilon (hamstring) are also back in contention, which will help to reduce to the size of the injury list.
Casemiro’s shape is still an issue.
Although ten Hag will be relieved to have someone of Casemiro’s quality and experience returning, his performances this season have been disappointing.
With Sofyan Amrabat and Scott McTominay also vying for midfield spots, Casemiro will need to step up his game soon if he wants to remain in the starting lineup.
