Though it was a tough game but Arsenal win a Premier League game away at Everton for the first time since the Arsene Wenger era.
The Gunners appeared to be completely dominant as Everton attempted to outmuscle our midfield and failed horribly. Gabriel Martinelli scored a fantastic goal in the 19th minute after being expertly supplied by Vieira, but it was ruled out after a lengthy, lengthy VAR review.
Despite not interfering with the flow of play, it was determined that Nketiah (on the opposite side of the field) was offside, and the pass to Martinelli bounced off an Everton player before reaching the Brazilian. Another amazing choice made by the nameless twits behind the television displays.
To make matters worse, Martinelli was brought down and forced to leave the scene wounded minutes later.

Trossard replaced him and business resumed with Arsenal playing sweet football but not getting the ball in the net. Everton finally got their first shot on target in the 42rd minute but otherwise we were totally in control, and will be disppointed to go into the break without a clear lead after having 77% of the possession…
Again in the second half it was all Arsenal in attack but Everton were beginning to increase in confidence, we had a scare when Gabriel got fallen upon and may have got a bang on the head. Immediately Arteta replaced Nketiah with Jesus, and Everton brought on Calvert-Lewin at the same time.
On the 68th minute, Bukayo Saka provided Trossard with an assist and he finished well.
What a fantastic strike from Trossard. The curse has been lifted, Arsenal take all 3 points!

Leandro Trossard: “It’s always nice to help your team & especially if you can score the winning goal. I think [the goal] was a great action, I called B [Saka] & he saw me, it’s a perfect lay-off & I had to hit it straight with my left – it goes in perfectly. I’m very happy!”
Mikel Arteta on picking David Raya for #EVEARS: “It is like playing Fabio Vieira, it is nothing different. I have 11 players to pick and no-one is different.”
David was really fantastic against Everton today, he had 34 passes and 32 of those passes was accurate.
He looks completely calm in most situation, he is surely a great buy for Arsenal already.

People said Fabio Vieira will be bullied at Everton. But he was actually our biggest threat in the final third and even won his share of duels. Lot of positives to take for him from today.
