Crunch Talks Expected As Liverpool Wait To Hear Whether They Can Seal Move For Wantaway Bundesliga Star

Liverpool target Ryan Gravenberch is set to sit down with Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel to determine his future at the club, according to reports in the German media.

The Dutchman wants assurances that he will be a key player going forward for the Bundesliga champions, having spent most of his first season in Germany on the bench.

Gravenberch is known to have suitors in England, with Jurgen Klopp’s side said to be leading the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal in pursuing the midfielder’s signature.

However, the player has yet to make up his mind about whether to leave the Allianz Arena. He was signed by sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic, who has since been sacked.

That has left a great deal of uncertainty about where Gravenberch fits into Bayern’s plans, especially after a season where he has hardly played.

Tuchel is likely to play a key role

Gravenberch did start Bayern’s final game of the season against Cologne. Considering it was a title decider, Tuchel did place a lot of faith in the 21-year-old.

Two of the player’s three league starts have come since the former Chelsea manager was appointed so there is still a chance that the Netherlands international will remain in Germany this summer.
