Red-hot Osimhen scores a hat-trick in Napoli’s huge win over Sassuolo to extend its unbeaten run, this current form of Victor is well known to a lot of top European teams and no wonder Chelsea scouts watched him against AS Roma where he did well also.

The Nigeria forward scored three goals as his team extended their unbeaten run this season with a 4-0 win in the Serie A fixture staged at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Saturday.

The in-form Super Eagle striker was in the right place to poke home Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s header after just four minutes.

In the 32nd minute, Osimhen managed to get past his marker before making an attempt. However, the defender was in the right position to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

Kvaratskhelia ensured the Naples-based team went into the break with a 3-0 lead after connecting a Mario Rui’s lofted cross.

The red-hot Osimhen then completed his hat-trick in the 78th minute when he spotted the goalkeeper off his line and he lifted the ball over him and into the back of the net.

The Nigeria international has now scored seven goals in the ongoing campaign, and with his exploits, he can easily get 20 or more this season.

CHELSEA scouts were allegedly thrilled by Victor Osimhen’s stellar performance against Roma – but they will have to pay a high amount to sign him.

The striker produced a fantastic winner for Napoli against Jose Mourinho’s side, keeping the Italian team three points ahead at the top of the table.

According to Calciomercato, his performance has piqued the curiosity of Chelsea scouts who are keeping tabs on him.

He is one of several European talents thought to be fascinated by the Blues, and it is hoped he would add some vitality to their assault.

A large amount of at least £87 million is said to be the figure that would entice Roma to sell.

But Osimhen is also a target for Manchester United, who were linked with him in the summer.

Osimhen joined Napoli from Lille in 2020 for £81 million, and he has four goals and one assist in seven games this season.
