Chelsea are seeking for a midfielder ahead of Thursday’s 11 p.m. transfer deadline; the Blues made a £43 million approach for Ajax player Edson Alvarez, but the Dutch club refused to sell; Zakaria just joined Juventus in January of this year.
Zakaria will undergo a physical in Turin on the evening of Deadline Day, with a move for Ajax midfielder Edson Alvarez now in question.
Chelsea made a £43 million deal for Alvarez this week, but Ajax want to keep him after losing Antony to Manchester United on deadline day.
Zakaria joined Juventus from Borussia Monchengladbach in January of this year and has made 11 Serie A appearances.

This season, the Swiss international has only made two appearances in four Italian top-flight matches.
Aubameyang in, Alonso out at Chelsea to Barcelona but he couldn’t be registered at Barca
Chelsea and Barcelona have completed a deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, with Marcos Alonso heading the opposite way.
Early on Deadline Day, Sky Sports News claimed that Chelsea and Barcelona were nearing an agreement for Aubameyang. Chelsea is said to be paying about £10 million plus Alonso for the former Arsenal striker.
Aubameyang has been granted permission to go to the United Kingdom for a physical and to finalize the agreement, with personal conditions not likely to be an issue.
