Chelsea 4-4 Manchester City, a glorious display by the Blues

A dramatic goal scoring encounter at the Stanford Bridge between Chelsea and Manchester City, a match in which we saw 8 goals.

Goals from Erling Halaand 2 goals, Thiago Silva, Raheem sterling, Manuel Akanji, Nicolas Jackson, Rodri and a last minute penalty converted by former Man City player, Cole Palmer.

Chelsea are really getting back to their best this season after they’ve refused to lose a single match against the big boys.

It started with a 1-1 draw against Liverpool and it was like a fluke to many but they went ahead to draw Arsenal 2-2, beating Tottenham Hotspur 4-1. And today on a Sunday evening, they held the European and English Premier League Champion to a 4-4 draw.

Chelsea are the first team to score 3+ Premier League goals in a match against Man City since Man Utd in October 2022.

This is a really good one for Chelsea, they are back with the big boys no doubt.

Meanwhile, Erling Haaland makes it 13 goals in 12 Premier League games.

17 goals in all competitions in 18 games this season. Looks normal for him but it’s not normal at all…

Manchester City remain ahead of Arsenal despite failure to secure all the three points at the Stanford Bridge.
