BREAKING: Arsenal & West Ham have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Declan Rice

Arsenal have finalised an agreement in principle with West Ham to sign Declan Rice for £105m, after talks over the structure of the deal were completed on Wednesday evening.

Arsenal submitted their third bid to West Ham United for their priority target Declan Rice yesterday.

The official bid for Declan Rice came after West Ham choice to reject £80m plus £10m bid from Man City

Arsenal third bid is £100m fixed fee plus £5m add-ons, as @David_Ornstein reported.

Josh Kroenke has played a huge role in negotiations, alongside Edu, over the last 48 hours in order to get the deal for Declan Rice over the line.

The West Ham captain was Arsenal’s number one target. Mikel Arteta has reiterated for months how important it was that Arsenal got him in.

Josh Kroenke & Edu as well as everyone else have delivered.

Formally agreeing personal terms will not be an issue, with Rice to sign a long term contract worth at least £250,000-per-week. Arsenal has always Rice’s preferred destination despite City’s late interest in him. And he will now be granted his wish of joining the Gunners, where head coach Mikel Arteta views him as a future captain.
