Arsenal suffered a lot last season because of their thin squad and it was very much noticed towards the end of the season when they really need to win matches in order for them to make it to European Champions League.
However, their usual injury curse set in properly as it started plucking the key players in the team, players like Thomas Partey, Kieran Tierney, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Ben white, Cedric and Smith Rowe.
This same issue was the reason they were badly defeated in their first 3 games of last season which got so many people into questioning those in charge at Arsenal because there was serious concern about the situation as at that time.
During the time of Arsene Wenger, the injury problem was even much more than this but the team will still perform well and far better than what happened to the team performance when the season was almost done and dusted last season.
