Bella Shmurda pays tribute to Mohbad with a new song and a personalized jewelry

In a new song, Nigerian singer Abiola Ahmed Akinbiyi aka Bella Shmurda pays glowing homage to his late companion, Mohbad.

Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad, died on September 12, 2023 and was buried the next day in Ikorodu, with his demise causing anxiety and discussion on social media in recent weeks.

Mohbad’s close buddy Bella Shmurda eulogized the late musician in a new song he uploaded on his Instagram profile on Friday.

Bella Shmurda hails Mohbad in the song as a remarkable artist, a terrific friend, and a legend who will be remembered forever.

He had previously uploaded a photo of a diamond pendant with MohBad’s face as a bright homage to his friend.

The name of his buddy, his date of birth, and his death date are written on the reverse of the diamond-encrusted piece of jewelry, along with a small inscription that reads:

Ā ā€œRIP Mohbad. Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba 8 June 1996 – 12 September 2023. Legends Never Die.ā€

Renowned musicians and celebrities from Nigeria such as Olamide, Falz, Davido, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy DML, Do2dtun, Tacha, Omawumi, Iyabo Ojo, and many others have also paid tributes to the late singer whose music has enjoyed a massive resurgence amongst music listeners and in the streaming platforms in Nigeria.

International celebrities including as Kodak Black, Lil Durk, and Meek Mill have also paid their respects to Mohbad.

His death has been surrounded by a slew of controversy, with many urging for the reason to be revealed and several rallies held around the country to seek justice for the late musician, and the Nigerian Police has since begun an inquiry into Mohbad’s death.
