Being Born-Again Has Been My Best Achievement In Life – Toyin Abraham’s Ex-husband, Seun
Olajide Kareem, also known as Seun Egbegbe, a Nigerian filmmaker, has regarded his new life as a born-again Christian as his greatest achievement.
Seun, who used to be Toyin Abraham’s boyfriend, said today that he became a Christian while in prison.
Nigerian film producer, who unveiled the new element of his life to Nigerians in an interview with BBC Yoruba, said becoming born-again had been “my biggest achievement” in life.
Seun stated that his jail experience assisted him in dealing with his anger issues, and that there is now a “100% difference” between the Seun Egbegbe of then and now.
“I’m not a saint, but I’m grateful to God that he allowed me to go to prison to know what they call life. To know my right from my left,” he said. “I am born-again now, there’s a difference between the Seun Egbegbe of before and now. There’s a 100% difference.
“I will never raise my hand to hit any woman again. No matter what your woman does, don’t hit her. Any man that raises his hand to hit a woman, cannot do anything with that hand again,” Egbegbe added.
Following his release from jail on Tuesday, the Nigerian filmmaker reconnected with his mother after six years.
Seun was released from jail on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, after serving six years and eight months in solitary confinement.
Egbegbe was remanded in custody on February 10, 2017, after allegedly acquiring money by deception from no less than 40 Bureaus De Change (BDC) operators in various sections of Lagos between 2015 and 2017.
