Atletico Madrid rejected Manchester United’s €130m bid for Joao Felix

According to Spanish publication AS, Manchester United‘s €130 million deal for Joao Felix was rejected by Atletico Madrid.

According to the source, Atletico Madrid are hesitant to authorize a trade because of the 22-year-old forward’s €350 million release clause.

In 2019, Atletico Madrid paid £113 million to buy the Portugal international from Benfica.

The Atletico Madrid man is an important player for the Club and at this very young age he will still improve, so Madrid may not want to let him go except if so much money is involved.

The Red Devils are in need of good players at the moment for general team improvement since they have not been spectacular so far this season.

They have not done any major transfer deal this season apart from Lisandro Martinez, despite sniffing around players like De Jong, Rabiot and others.

Nothing is impossible if much more money in involved, Atletico Madrid may still agree a deal with Manchester United.
