Arsenal won 0-2 against Crystal Palace in the opening match of the 2022-2023 Premier League campaign.

This night was good enough for Arsenal to get a revenge of their 3-0 defeat to Crystal Palace by winning them 0-2 away from home with the goals coming from Gabriel Martinelli in the first half and the second was an own goal by Marc Guehi.

The game started with high intensity as the host tried to bring the pressure to the gunners as they press really high.

However, Arsenal was just too good for them this time around because they push them back from the back through the middle and the attackers were making dangerous runs against Crystal Palace defense.

The good work of Arsenal was almost bringing result on the 4th minute as the ball came to him through the box of Crystal palace to the left side and one would have thought that strike was going straight into the net but the Brazilian missed the chance.

The game progress really well for the Gunners as they dominate almost every position on the pitch, there were great passes all around and proper communication between the players.

On the 20th minute, a conner kick came from the right wing and Arsenal new boy Zinchenko was well positioned as he nodded well to assist Gabriel Martinelli who nodded as well to score against Crystal Palace.

Arsenal kept on with the good display and Crystal Palace also tried their best to get back into the game but they couldn’t as the game ended 0-1 in the first half.

In the second half of the game, Cryatal Palace seriously stepped up their game as they try really hard but Arsenal was solid at the back. The new boy Saliba was the best at the back for the Gunners.

He was seen making tackles, blocking shots and winning ball back for his team mate.

There were major changes done by Arsenal on the 83rd Minute as Zinchenko was replaced by Kieran Tierney who surprisingly made the bench and Gabriel Jesus who was replaced by Eddie Nketiah.

Crystal Palace attacked down the left wing but Tierney won the ball and Bukayo Saka pushed through the right wing to send in a cross in the box eighteen of the Palace and there was Marc Guehi who scored an own goal.

And on the 85th minute, the Gunner were 0-2 up, Arsenal left with a clean sheet and an away win in the new campaign.

It must be said that this is a good start for the Gunner this season.
