Arsenal started today’s game against Liverpool in the Emirate stadium exactly 4:30pm.
Arsenal came into the game with high spirit after winning nine of their last ten games.

What a way to start the game. It just took one minute for Arsenal to score, as Gabriel Martinelli outruns the Pool defenders and sneaks it past Alisson into the net.
This has always been a high-scoring match, but it’s usually Liverpool who finds the back of the net!
This has been a terrific start, but it is too early to say we are avenging our previous defeats, but if we score another two before halftime, who knows?
After 9 minutes, Ramsdale sought for help due to a pulled muscle, but he chose to continue.
Around 13 minutes, Xhaka got a shot, but Alisson was too quick, and it was offside anyhow.
Martinelli made an unintentional hefty tackle on Trent-Arnold, which did not bode well for the England right-back.
It was true end-to-end game, with Liverpool having more of the ball and sending them down the flanks, and we had a fright when an interception from Saliba looked like it was going to slip past Ramsdale, but our Number One swiftly got his palm down.

Liverpool were desperate for an equalizer, and as Salah slid it into the area, Darwin Nunez scored their first goal, bringing us back level…
Arsenal appeared to have lost their cool, while Liverpool appeared to be gaining control. Arsenal had to fight hard defending up to the break, including 5 minutes added on, but with great timing, Martinelli caused havoc down the left just before the whistle. He deftly slid the ball to Saka in the box, and Arsenal were back in front.
The second half began with Martinelli making a nuisance of himself, and Arsenal had another good chance in the opening minute, but Liverpool fumbled the ball away…
Arsenal were obviously looking more confident now, and Odegaard had a good chance after 5 minutes but tamely fired it at Alisson.
Then, against the flow of play, Liverpool scored, with Firmino slotting the ball into Ransdale’s bottom corner, and it was back to nail-biting time for all Gooners with half an hour to go.
The game returned to being end-to-end, but Liverpool were getting a little nasty, with Arsenal players getting shoved around the pitch, but Arsenal came near yet again, with Tsimikas clearing off the line.
MO has 20 minutes left. Salah was substituted after barely making an effect on the game, and Arsenal went on to win. They came within 15 minutes of scoring again when Xhaka sent the ball into the area, but no banana.
But we kept attacking, and when Xhaka brought the ball back into the area with Martinelli again and again, the official calls a penalty. The commotion that ensued threatened to erupt into a fight with an enraged Granit Xhaka, but the official eventually calmed the players down enough for Saka to walk up to the spot.
AND HE WINNS!!!! With a fantastic sidestep towards the corner. Congratulations, Saka!
With 15 minutes remaining, Arteta switches Tierney for Odegaard in an attempt to maintain Arsenal’s lead, and of course, he hands the armband to Granit Xhaka…

Arsenal then appeared to be at ease, moving the ball about without allowing Liverpool any access to it. They are looking as though they meant to furstrate Klopp’s team, and they are doing it extremely successfully. In the midst of protecting their life!
Liverpool even attempted a penalty dive, but it was soon denied.
Arsenal supporters have become accustomed to seeing their club smashed by Liverpool, so witnessing this has been much more satisfying, and it is even better that we have returned to the top of the Premier League!
Arsenal should win the league this season.
