Arsenal submits 20M bid to sign Danilo from Palmeiras before transfer deadline
Goal.com claims to be interested in Danilo of Palmeiras and to have submitted a £20 million deal to acquire his services.
According to the report, the midfielder has emerged as their top target, and they want to complete the trade as soon as possible.
The Brazilian team, though, is probably going to reject the offer because they want more money.\
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal is pressing for a deal to capture Palmeiras defensive midfielder Danilo dos Santos de Oliveira.
The 21-year-old youth international from Brazil is valued at £18 million by the Arsenal, who would want to add him to their midfield options.
Arsenal’s technical director, Edu, is driving the acquisition of the player. He is trying to avoid the error he made with Bruno Guimaraes, which led to the transfer of his compatriot to Olympique Lyonnais.
Before the transfer market closes tomorrow, Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta wants to add another midfielder, and the club has set its sights on the Palmeiras potential.
There is a little injury issue in the Arsenal’s midfield. Only Granit Xhaka and Albert Sambi Lokonga are available to play against Aston Villa later today.

Danilo is the youngest player in the starting XI, but he has been receiving high praise for his work with his team.
Danilo was given an opportunity to play for the first squad by Vanderlei Luxemburgo, who is famous for his belief in young players. Along with other excellent young players like Gabriel Veron, Wesley, Patrick de Paula, and Gabriel Menino, he was given the chance to play.
He joined Palmeiras in September 2020 and made his debut. Since then, the left-footed midfield pillar has only gotten better.

Danilo will continue to be pursued by Arsenal. It is uncertain whether Palmeiras will agree with their assessment of the player, though.
