Arsenal Listed Among The Three Teams Seeking To Sign Nigerian Ace With 87M Price Tag

Arsenal remain firmly in the race to sign Napoli striker Victor Osimhen, according to the Corriere del Mezzogiorno (via AreaNapoli.it).

The Italian publication claims that the Gunners are interested in the Nigerian international, along with Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

However, Napoli will make it difficult for any club to snap up Osimhen, with the Serie A side said to be demanding in excess of €100m (£87m) for the player.

Considering Gabriel Jesus’s excellent start to life at the Emirates, it’s hard to see why Arsenal would seriously contemplate a bid for Osimhen, especially with his asking price being as high as it is.

There are also concerns about the 23-year-old’s injury record. He has already spent a month on the sidelines with a muscular problem this season.

With 10 goals in 14 appearances, though, Osimhen is undoubtedly a player that a top European club will be keen to sign so, even if he doesn’t make the switch to the Gunners, he will surely make a big move soon.
