Arsenal Have ‘Eyes’ On 35M Rated Winger Who Has Scored Five Goals In His Last Eight Games

Arsenal have their “eyes” on signing Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma.

The Italian website claims that the Gunners have taken note of the Japanese international’s performances in recent months.

Mitoma has been outstanding for Brighton since the World Cup, having scored five goals in eight appearances, including winners against Liverpool and Bournemouth in the Seagulls’ last two home fixtures.

There are reports that the 25-year-old could cost around £35m, although that valuation seems to be a bit on the low side considering Brighton’s reputation as tough negotiators.

With Arsenal having already signed a winger from the south coast club in Leandro Trossard just last month, it would also be surprising if they are looking to bring in a similar player this summer.

Mitoma’s form has certainly garnered him a lot of attention and we shall see if he can maintain his current performance levels between now and the end of the season.
