If a club’s team has less than eight locally trained players, the maximum number of players on List A is decreased proportionally.
List A changes can only be made before the round of 16 in February 2024, when teams can register up to three additional players, such as new signings or previously injured players, although the total cap of 25 players remains.
Arsenal has officially presented the list of the players that will represent the club in the Champions League this season, on the official Arsenal website arsenal.com
It was highly expected that Cedric would leave Arsenal during the concluded summer transfer windows but the greatest surprise now is that he has made the 25 man squad for UEFA Champions League representing Arsenal.
Goalkeepers: Aaron Ramsdale, David Raya, James Hillson
Defenders: Cedric, Lino Sousa, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Ben White, Gabriel, Jakub Kiwior, William Saliba
Midfielders: Mohamed Elneny, Jorginho, Thomas Partey, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz, Fabio Vieira, Emile Smith Rowe
Forwards: Leandro Trossard, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Reiss Nelson, Eddie Nketiah, Gabriel Jesus
In addition, we will submit our List B submissions by 00:00 CET on the night before each match during the campaign, which will allow us to augment our roster with under-21 players.
A player may be registered on List B if he was born on or after January 1, 2002, and has been eligible to play for the club in question for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday (players under the age of 16 may be submitted if they have been registered with the club for the previous two years).
During the season, clubs may register an unlimited number of players on List B, but the list must be submitted no later than 00:00 CET the day before a match.
Each team must have at least two goalkeepers on List A and a total of three (Lists A and B combined).
