Arsenal defeated Manchester City 1-0 at the Emirates stadium and the first time since 2015

Arsenal went toe-to-toe with the Treble Winners. An awful decision against them and still came out on top. This is a performance I will remember for ages. Gabriel Martinelli, the game-winner. Arsenal are top of the league and are unbeaten.

ARSENAL beat Manchester City in the Premier League for the first time since 2015, they break a 12 match winless streak against City.

Mikel Arteta has now beaten ALL 24 clubs he has faced as Arsenal manager in the Premier League.

Arteta deserves so much praise for his second half tactics.

He went man-to-man against City’s 2-3-5 and reacted optimally to City’s subs. Oh, & ALL of his subs combined to score the winner!!

Pep was equally as good, though. The margins are so, so fine. Either team could’ve won.

Thomas Partey, Kai Havertz, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Martinelli were fundamental today. Huge impact. Masterclass.
