Arsenal Back to Winning Ways After Losing Against Liverpool In Their Previous Match. .

Arsenal was very unfortunate not to convert their chances against the Liverpool team on Tuesday in the Emirate Stadium, it was clearly seen that the Gunners are now forging a very strong squad despite that they lost to Liverpool.

Just on Saturday afternoon the Gunners went away to play against Aston Villa at the Villa Park and we all believed it would be a tough match as it turns out to be when the game started.

Aston Villa has been doing well since Stephen Gerard took over as their manager, we’ve seen them becoming so difficult to play against as well. They recently brought in some players during the last transfer window that has really helped them this far. The likes of Philipe Coutinho, Kirean Trippers, Emilano Buendia and Leon Bailey.

We expected Mikel Arteta to once again name an unchanged side today, and you can see below, both Gabriel Martinelli and Aaron Ramsdale miss out as late absentees due to Aaron Ramsdale (hip) and Gabriel Martinelli (illness) miss out on today’s matchday squad.

Arsenal Started very brightly and their brilliant play was quickly rewarded with a goal from Bukayo Saka on the 30th minute when the defender failed to clear after the corner, and it bounced to Saka just outside the area to place his effort into the left Conner of the goal post, and Arsenal got there much deserved lead.

Arsenal recorded 2 shot on target while Aston Villa had zero shot on target and off target during the first half, it was a good domination for Arsenal almost throughout the match because the Aston Villa boy hardly tested Arsenal goalkeeper Leno as he was not really busy all day.

Leno was not fantastic with is ball distribution or I will rather say he has become rusted, ball playing ability is actually one of his weaknesses and one of the reason he sits more on the bench this days.

There were couples of substitution for Arsenal in the second half and the first was the goal scorer Bukayo Saka, he was almost injured by an Aston Villa player and later went out of the game for Nicolas Pepe.

Arsenal missed some good chances during the match, this is a good indication that they need to sign a reliable striker in the next transfer window. Laccazete was removed for Eddie Nkatia almost immediately he missed a good chance.

Leno was a bit active towards the end of the match when there was a major save from him which allowed Arsenal to go away with the whole three point that propelled them further in their pursuit of the European Champion’s League spot as they have not participated for some few years now.
